This is our 3rd year partnering with Etowah Riding Club and NEW to this series is Magical Moments Therapeutic Riding Center and Riding for Buckles joining in on the Open Show Series! This is an open show series with championship classes and high point end of year awards (Oct. 18th) in youth and adult divisions.
-Points will be collected throughout the season and awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each of these classes in all 6 shows in the Etowah Riding Club, Davis Ranch, Magical Moments Therapeutic Riding Center and Riding for Buckles Open Show Series. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the season for High Point Adult and High Point Youth.
-Riders may use any horse for these classes. Rider must register for the Championship Series at the beginning of the show season.
-If there is a tie, the judge at D.R Leicester Fall Show will decide what the riders will need to do for tiebreaker
- Riders will be judged in line-up (for ALL classes)
· Once rider enters the ring, coaches will be spectators – no yelling into the ring during classes (for ALL classes)
o ANY interference or distraction would cause rider to be disqualified
-Adult classes are 18 years of age and older.
-Youth classes are 17 years of age and younger.
-Only the classes listed below count towards the Championship Series and will award points towards High Point. All other classes will still be awarded 1st-6th place ribbons as usual.
-We do encourage riders to attend all six shows in the ERC, Magical Moments, Riding for Buckles & Davis Ranch Show Series to have the best possible chance for High Point awards.

Etowah Riding Club
The Etowah Riding Club is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina near Hendersonville, Brevard, and Asheville. We are a Nonprofit {501(c)(4)} group who care about horses, enjoy riding, and have the desire to become better horse people.
ERC meets monthly throughout the year to socialize and learn. During warm weather, we sponsor several shows and events. Members and friends ride together informally throughout the year.
The Etowah Riding Club was founded in 1966, close to 60 years ago, and is still going strong thanks to community support, generous property owners, and active members. We are striving to be a resource for local equestrians that helps support the many equine trails & activities we have in our area.
Magical Moments
The facility will be approximately 20 acres and have a fully enclosed barn and indoor arena for year-round use, an outdoor arena, a round pen, a classroom, space for each service to use as needed indoors. The goal is to make a facility to use regardless of the weather conditions outside. We want the clients to enjoy the benefits of the horses year-round.
The vision for Magical Moments Therapeutic Riding Center is to help as many individuals as possible. This will be done by looking at the needs of the whole person with an integrative approach of all their needs. Magical Moments will incorporate several different types of therapy services and community outreach services that can effectively communicate with one another to best support each individual's needs.
